Master Specifications:
Audio CD: DDP images
If mastering or DDP master creation is chosen as an additional service, single wav or aif files can also be sent zipped.
DVD: ISO file, IMG image or Video TS / Audio TS folder
They should be zipped and/or checksummed to avoid transmission errors.
Vinyl : 2 Wav files (for side A & B) with the breaks already included.
Delivery as hardware master CD /DVD :
DVD-R/CD-R must be locked.
DVD-R/CD-R must not contain copy protection.
Dual layer disc as master for DVD-9 production is possible.
A DVD-5 should not have more than 2219271 sectors.
This also applies to both layers of a DVD-10.
The layers of a DVD-9 must not have more than 2024335 sectors to come to 57.5 mm.
Notice:
For recordable media use only higher quality branded blanks, premasters must be clean and undamaged. Damage (fingerprints, scratches, dust) can severely impair the quality and lead to unreadability. Only use specially suitable pens for labeling the premaster. Select suitable packaging for shipping.
